Goodbye Anise Taverna- Hello RiverShack

Big news at Anise Taverna (620 NE 78th St., 305-758-2929)
After almost four years, Liza and Gigi Meoli will say goodbye to their Greek/Mediterranean restaurant on Mothers Day Sunday May 13. No need for tears, though. The Meolis are also saying hello to a new venture in the same space with a co-owner/partner, Chef David Long: RiverShack.

Inspired by the diverse cultures of our beautiful city, the cuisine will be chef-driven. Philly native David Long and sous chef Alan Harst are eager to display their “personality and passion on a plate”
The space will retain its rustic charm especially with the very popular outdoor riverside seating while making some changes to the interior and an addition of a game room is planned. The Meolis will still be in charge of their warm front-of-the-house hospitality.

RiverShack will be open Saturday May19th at 5pm

Business hours will be Tuesday through Sundays from 5pm-Midnight
